As Test Manager, you will be providing the strategic direction, best practice, and road map for achieving the desired outcomes. You would need a good understanding of the direction the field is taking within the context of Agile teams and DevSecOps and applied within a business services context. Within this role you’ll be helping to lead and develop future test strategy as part of a fast-paced change program working closely with both Senior Engineering and Senior Architects from across the business. On a day-to-day basis you will work closely with the Development teams and technical leads to help to embed the new approaches and best practise within our development teams.Qualifications
- Strong previous experience building, implementing and directing quality assurance principles across teams to deliver quality outcomes.
- Experience working in an agile development environment.

Cloud Architect Skills & Experience Required

- Implement automation tools and frameworks (CI/CD pipelines)
- Collaborate with teams to improve tools, systems and procedures, and data security
- Review and approve your teams input during systems tests for security, performance, and availability
- Create design and troubleshooting documentation, including authoring High Level Design documentation
- Skilled in container technologies (Docker/Kubernetes)

We are currently looking for a DevOps Engineer to join us on a global Digital Health project with a leading pharmaceutical and medical device provider. This role can be on a permanent or contract basis.
We pride ourselves in our remote-first ethos, so this role can be based fully remotely from anywhere in the UK or from our any of our 4 tech hubs (Edinburgh, Glasgow, London and Dundee).
You’ll be working within a top team, using cutting-edge technologies to build best-in-class applications within a Digital Health project. Some of the duties involved are:
- Leveraging the latest cloud technologies to deliver solutions on time and on budget.
- Provisioning and configuring cloud resources to meet the need of the product.
- Creating Python scripts for checking and manipulating datasets.
- Breaking down requirements and writing acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with the wider team to peer-review code and provide input in discussions on system design and architecture.
- Managing cloud infrastructure and promote best practice across the team.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Python
- Experience with Cloud Technology – we use Azure however we welcome applicants from an AWS or GCP background
- Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, such as MS SQL and MongoDB
- Experience working in an agile team as a DevOps Engineer OR Software Developer
- Background in data processing or transformation projects is preferred, but not essential
- Comfortable in writing and maintaining detailed functional and systems requirements documentation.
